In celebration of America's 250th birthday, our Barnett Bulldogs came together to create something truly AMAZING!

Students worked together to create a GIANT bald eagle and American flag using feathers and cutouts of their very own handprints!  Each student also took time to reflect on and write about the freedoms they are grateful to enjoy while living in America. 

But the fun didn't stop there! With extra feathers left over, Mrs. Wilde surprised us with a LIFE-SIZE bald eagle in the hallway!  Now our Bulldogs can stand next to it and see how they measure up to our nation's majestic symbol!

This project was a wonderful reminder that when we work together, show creativity, and DO OUR BEST, we can accomplish AMAZING things!
