Guess This Bulldog #7 Reveal!
The mystery Bulldog was... Natalie Veach, our K-2nd Behavior Skills Teacher!
Natalie has lived in Utah her entire life and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Special Education. Her dream of becoming a teacher started at a young age, when she would transform her family's basement into a classroom and spend hours "teaching." While attending Utah State, she discovered her passion for Special Education while working as a Special Education technician at Logan High School.
After earning her degree, Natalie taught at Logan High School for two years before taking time away from the classroom to raise her children. In 2019, she joined the Barnett family as a Special Education technician. Although her first year was cut short when schools closed due to COVID-19, she began her teaching career at Barnett the following school year. This year marks her seventh year of teaching, and we're so grateful she's part of the Barnett family!
Outside of school, Natalie loves spending time with her family. You'll often find her cheering from the sidelines at her children's sporting events. Whether it's baseball, basketball, football, or gymnastics, she's their biggest fan!
Natalie has loved teaching from the time she was a little girl, and today she says one of her greatest joys is teaching right here at Barnett Elementary. We are lucky to have such a caring, dedicated teacher who makes a difference in the lives of her students every day.
Thank you to everyone who participated and submitted guesses! Stay tuned for our next Guess This Bulldog challenge as we continue getting to know the incredible staff members who make Barnett such a special place to learn and grow.

The mystery Bulldog was...
🐶 BUDDY THE BULLDOG!
Buddy was born many years ago as a curious little bulldog puppy with floppy ears, oversized paws, and a heart full of determination. Even as a young pup, Buddy loved making new friends and helping others feel included.
As Buddy grew, he dreamed of becoming a mascot who could inspire students to be their very best. During his training, he met a legendary mentor—Cosmo the Cougar. Cosmo taught Buddy that success isn't about being the fastest or strongest. It's about showing up every day, working hard, and treating others with kindness and respect.
Buddy took those lessons to heart and made them his lifelong mission.
Today, Buddy proudly serves as the mascot of Barnett Elementary. He believes in being:
💙 Kind to everyone
💙 Honest, even when it's difficult
💙 Safe and responsible
💙 Obedient and respectful
💙 Hard-working in everything he does
💙 Tenacious when challenges arise
💙 A friend to all
When Buddy isn't cheering on the Barnett Bulldogs, you can find him welcoming new students, encouraging others to do their best, and reminding everyone that mistakes are simply opportunities to learn and grow.
Buddy's favorite part of being a Barnett Bulldog is watching students discover their talents, build friendships, and achieve goals they never thought possible.
Thank you for following along with our summer Guess This Bulldog series! Remember, no matter where life takes you, Buddy hopes you'll always be proud to be a Barnett Bulldog!

Guess This Bulldog #5 Reveal!
The mystery Bulldog was... Mollie Eddy, our Speech-Language Pathologist!
Mollie was born in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to South Carolina at age seven and then to Houston, Texas, at age nine. Houston became home for the rest of her childhood, and today her parents and three younger brothers still live there. She enjoys visiting family and friends whenever she has the opportunity.
This year marks Mollie's fifth year at Barnett Elementary, and all five years of her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist have been spent serving the students and families of Barnett! She discovered her passion for speech-language pathology during her senior year of high school after being inspired by a woman in her church congregation whose joy for the profession was impossible to miss. Mollie knew she wanted a career where she could build meaningful one-on-one relationships and help others in a lasting way.
She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Mandarin from BYU and later completed her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. After serving an LDS mission in Taiwan, she continued studying Mandarin while pursuing her passion for helping others improve their communication skills.
When she's not working with students, Mollie enjoys singing in a choir, attending a weekly hip-hop dance fitness class, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Austen. Together they love going on adventures, attending concerts and performances, cooking, exercising, and making memories. Mollie also loves meeting new people, learning new skills, and discovering new things about the world around her.
