A few weeks ago, our 4th graders got to go to Clark Planetarium. They loved learning about space, what constellations they see in different seasons, and the Earth's revolution and rotation. #barnettbulldogs #barnettleaders

Our school choir kicked off this past Wednesday. We're so excited to hear your beautiful songs! There's still time to join the choir if you are wanting to join your voice to the choir. GO BULLDOGS! #barnettbulldogs #barnettleaders

Mark your calendars for our upcoming family night on March 5 from 6-7 pm. If your last name starts with A-M, you will start in each of your student's classrooms to get a cool math resource to use at home. Make sure to stop by each child's classroom. After you have visited each classroom, you can swing by the cafeteria to get dinner. If your last name starts with N-Z, you will start in the cafeteria to get a dinner of pizza and chips. After you are done with dinner, you will stop by all of your student's classrooms to get the math resource. We are so excited for this! Expressions is an opportunity for students to share their talents and original ideas through various creative disciplines, including dance, visual art, writing, music, and photography. 2025 Theme This year's theme echoes the Barnett student anthem: "DO YOUR BEST! Just a heads up that we will not have school this coming Monday, February 17.

In our music classes, we listened and watched an orchestra play "The Chinese Dance" from the Nutcracker. We learned how the violin could be stroked with a bow or plucked, which is called "pizzacato." We then did an activity with a parachute where we had to listen to the high flute and the "pizzacato" of the violins and try to keep the balloons on the parachute at the same time. #barnettbulldogs #barnettleaders
